The PROTEC.class PHLAK25225GR main cable branch terminal is a high-quality, 5-pole main cable branch terminal for the safe connection and distribution of cables in low-voltage installations. It features a total of 10 inputs for conductors up to 25 mm² and 10 outputs for conductors up to 16 mm², and is ideal for distribution boards, meter panels and other electrical distribution systems.

5-pole main cable branch terminal block for electrical installations

The PHLAK25225GR enables the clear distribution of main cables to several branch cables. Each pole has two inputs and two outputs. This provides a total of 5 × 2 inputs for conductors up to 25 mm² and 5 × 2 outputs for conductors up to 16 mm².

The main circuit branch terminal is designed for mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail in accordance with EN 50022 / EN 60715. Thanks to its side-by-side mounting design, the terminal can be expanded with additional PHLAK-type terminals.

Material and construction

The terminal block is made of tin-plated brass and ensures a reliable electrical connection. The terminal screws are made of galvanised steel. The insulated housing, made of impact-resistant, flame-retardant and halogen-free polyamide, provides safe protection against accidental contact.

The socket terminals each have two screws per clamping point. The screws feature a Pozidriv Z2 combination cross-head. The design with rounded corners allows for easy and compact installation.

Installation and connection

The main cable branch terminal is mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail in accordance with EN 50022 / EN 60715. Rigid and multi-strand conductors from 1.5 to 25 mm² are intended for the main circuit. Fine-strand conductors can be connected using ferrule terminals up to 16 mm².

For the branch circuits, solid and multi-strand conductors from 1.5 to 16 mm² are suitable, as are fine-stranded conductors with ferrule terminals from 1.5 to 10 mm². The strip length is 16 mm.
