Product description
The NHXMH-J 1X16 mm² DCA cable is a high-quality low-voltage cable that has been specially developed for use in buildings with an increased concentration of people and property. It complies with the DIN VDE 0250-214 standard and is designed for a rated voltage of 300/500 V.
Structure and materials
- Conductor: Solid or stranded round copper conductor
- Cores: Stranded in layers
- Core insulation: Polyethylene moulded with halogen-free filling compound
- Core labelling: According to DIN VDE 0293-308
- Outer sheath: Halogen-free polymer mixture, sheath colour grey
- Design: 1 x 16 mm²
- Outer diameter: approx. 11.0 mm
Properties and advantages
- Suitable for fixed installation on, in and under plaster
- Can be used in dry and damp rooms as well as outdoors (without direct sunlight)
- Improved fire behaviour with low smoke development
- No corrosive gases in case of fire
- Comparable to NYM-J cables, but halogen-free

This cable is ideal for use in residential and commercial buildings, schools, hospitals or wherever there are increased safety requirements for fire behaviour and smoke development. Please note that the cable is not suitable for underground installation.
