What is NYY-J Cable?
NYY-J is a standardized PVC power cable according to VDE norms:
- N: Copper conductor (norm-compliant)
- Y: PVC insulation
- Y: PVC outer sheath
- J: Includes green/yellow protective earth conductor (PE)
Unlike NYM-J (for indoor dry/wet areas), NYY-J features a thicker, more robust sheath for direct burial without additional mechanical protection (local regulations permitting).
