Circuit breaker

The miniature circuit breaker (MCB) is an essential part of the electrical installation and protects cables from overheating due to overcurrent. It automatically switches off circuits in the event of an overload or short circuit and is reusable. Modern miniature circuit breakers have a rectangular plastic housing and are available in different widths, depending on the number of poles. They offer various tripping mechanisms such as thermal, electromagnetic, manual and additional modules. B-characteristic circuit breakers, which are available for various rated currents, are usually used in residential areas. They ensure safety and prevent uncontrolled reclosing after an overload trip.
